“Seascape with a Palm Tree under the Moon” is an original large-scale oil painting inspired by the magical atmosphere of tropical seaside evenings. Living close to the ocean, I am constantly surrounded by its beauty and ever-changing light, and this painting reflects those peaceful moments when day slowly turns into night.
My intention was to create a marine artwork that feels light, atmospheric, and calming — a piece that could naturally enhance any living space. I am deeply inspired by sunsets over the sea. Near the beach where I live, the sun sets directly into the ocean, creating a breathtaking view that attracts many people each evening. Between six and seven o’clock the sky becomes a living canvas, filled with warm reflections and constantly changing clouds.
Every sunset is unique. The patterns of clouds, the glow of fading sunlight, and the quiet movement of the sea create an unforgettable harmony of colors and light. While painting this work, I wanted to capture that serene coastal mood — the moment when the sky softens, the moon appears above the water, and a gentle tropical breeze moves the palm leaves.
Looking at this painting always brings me back to those real seaside evenings and the peaceful beauty of the ocean horizon.
